Public Events in 2012

May

Sat 26th and Sun 27th May, 10.30am till 4.30pm
There will be a display at Wyevale Garden Centre, Woburn Sands featuring bat-friendly wildlife gardening and volunteers on hand to answer your questions.

June

Sat 2nd June, from 10.00am
There will be stand at the Young Farmers' Club's Waddesdon Country Show with volunteers around to answer your questions. Entrance fee to show.

Sat 16th and Sun 17th June, 12.00pm till 5.00pm
We will have a marquee at the NGS Open Gardens Days in Loughton Village, Milton Keynes. Volunteers will be on hand both days so come along and enjoy these private gardens. Entrance fee to gardens for charity.

Sat 23rd June, 6.30pm till 10.00pm
Meet at St Andrew's Church in Chinnor for a talk and presentation, followed by a walk around the churchyard with detectors to see what we can find. Chinnor Goes Wild. Donations welcome.

July

Sat 7th July
Outdoor display at the Ashley Green Summer Fair. Free entry.

Sat 14th July, 8.45pm
Public bat walk at Hazeldene Farm, an organic farm on Asheridge Road, Chesham. Contact Susan Makepeace. Donations welcome.

Sun 15th July, 9.00 pm till 10.30pm
With the right equipment and knowledge, an evening walk around a good bat site such as BBOWT's Weston Turville Reservoir can be a fabulous natural experience. Join Matt Dodds for an informal walk and talk to see, hear and learn about these fantastic and fascinating mammals. Meet at the eastern entrance to the reserve in Halton Lane. Donations welcome.
